day 278: 10/07 sun

happy happy birthday to my sweet baby hopp!!!  she is 4 now!  time really flies!!!  she was helping me make cupcakes for her daycare.  :)

finally got her to put up 4 the right way.  as you see in the above pic she was struggling, she finally got it.  :)

day 279: 10/08 mon

one of my cupcakes looked like brains!  i saved that one for jason.  :)

even though they are glittery & funky colors, they still kinda creep me out.

jess driving!  so serious, i love it!  i hope she is always this serious when she drives when i'm not in the car with her!!!  i don't know what it is about this pic but she is gorgeous, maybe it's the hair out of her face, can you see her tat behind her ear?  i can't believe she put it there.  oh well, nothing i can do about it, i'm ok with the tat just not the placement...

omg, this was at the dr office!  seriously, there is nothing more outdated you could still be using.  ;)

super classy!!!  some guy drives around in abilene with spinners, they looked plastic too, a coon tail from the hitch, & nekid ladies on the mud flaps!!!  what a douche!!!

the second hat, a little different pattern from the pink/green one, i decided i would weave as i would finish a row, much easier!!!  :)

 day 282: 10/11thur
this one is a long one, i took so many pictures!!! it was the most gorgeous outdoor craft show i have ever been to!  if you ever get an invite to the quaint marketplace, here in town, go to it!!! you will not be disappointed!!!!  i'm not going to comment on each one just a few.

this little critter was taking a stroll on the coffee machine/supply table!!!  at least he was little & not humongo like the one the last time!!!

here is the super cute party idea from the picture i took previously.  i made a huge pic by cutting out different sections in photo shop & pasting them in a word document & then putting her together like a puzzle.  there is a much easier way to do it in paint but didn't find out till just the other day.  oh well, we live & learn right?  we played put the band aid on hopp.  :)  i so love that smile, so toothy!!!

totally forgot to mention... birthday shout out!!!

getting the weekend started off right

it started with hopp's party on friday evening.  we had nachos & played a few games & then we opened presents & ate cake.  it was a great birthday party & everyone had lots of fun.  sorry for lacking in pics, my MIL took all the pics & i don't know if i will ever get them on my end.  :)

 during the party, jess' friend came & picked her up for the game & this is the pic with both of them in their mum/garter.  gabriel is the same age as jess but i'm guessing he looks so much older because of the 'stache.  he was very sweet, the little bit we actually saw him, & was very polite & met almost everyone in the family, lucky him.  :o)

after everyone left we started opening up packaging & pulling out her toys to play with.  i only got picks with two of the gifts & they were from my friend maria.  she loved the baby & the necklace/bracelet/ring set it's so cute & rainbow-y & lots of glitter.

then on saturday we went & looked for a dress, long story short, she found a really cute one from ross for under $17!!!  it's blue with a black lace overlay so unless you are standing next to her you really can't tell it's blue.  i don't think they planned the colors together but he matched her & they were a very handsome couple.  :)

 on sunday we didn't do much just waited till after nap & went to the laundromat to wash my comforter.  we are going to probably need it this evening so i figured i better go ahead & get it clean so we can use it soon.  we have a washer/dryer but the washer i have isn't king size comforter friendly.

week in hair & an fof

first up fof...

i have 11 red, 8 yellow, 2 orange & 6 blue all the way done to where they are suppose to be.  if i hadn't run out of these colors they would be all the way done.  so that means i need to make several trips to hobb lobb to use that 40% off coupon.  :)  i should have 11 total in each color to this round.  i just started working on the dark set at round 3.  i'm not too excited about the dark set but i need to finish what i started.  :)

monday, q had mini ponies & hopp headband.  notice that hopp never looks at me!  wth!  she is so stinkin' cute so i don't mind too much.  ;)



tuesday, q had a headband & had a mini pony with a bow, not that you can see it...



wednesday, q had a headband with a double knot pony, hopp a headband.  love that pouty face!!!  so sweet q is trying to get her to smile.  she was upset because i asked her to smile & look at me one too many times.

BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!  today she is 3!!!  she is sporting the double mini ponies. 



i can't believe my BABY is 3 today!  they grow so fast, so hug your babies extra tight because they won't be babies for long!!!!  i can't wait to have her dino party next friday.  it's going to be so much fun!

a special happy birthday today!!!

apparently i'm old enough to have a 17yr old!!!  YIKES!!!  :) 

today jess turns 17 officially at 2:45p.  :o)  i can't believe that 17yrs ago i was waiting on my dr to break my water.  i was exactly, one week from my due date & she was literally about to fall out!  i was a 6-7cm & 80% effaced! after he broke my water i was in labor (with only a "cocktail", so pretty much all natural) for only 2hours & 30minutes!!!! i told him the baby was coming, didn't know if she was a boy or girl, i wanted a surprise, he didn't believe me, i yelled the baby is coming & he looked down & had to put down my numbing meds & couldn't even give me an episiotomy!  it was all worth it though & i wouldn't change it for anything!!! :o)

anywho, she is a bright, beautiful, good young lady, and i can't wait to see what's in store for her in the future.  pretty soon she will be leaving home for college **sniff sniff**, the choice happens to be Sam Houston at the time.  i'm trying to persuade her to get interested in Angelo State so she's not too far away but far away enough to live her life.  she helps me in so many ways & i hope to surprise her with some privacy in the evenings as part of her bday present.  (right now the girls all sleep in the same room because we use the 3rd bedroom as an office for jason since he works from home.  i'm going to leave the girls stuff in the bedroom with jess but put the little girl's bed in the office so that jess can read & talk on her phone in the evenings without having to wake up the little ones.  she has been doing all of that at the kitchen table which can't be too comfortable.)  she will be so excited!
