one more week down, several to go.  i'm trying to make a dent in it.  :)  i thought i would do all of october but it's just too many pics!!!

day 271: 9/30 sun

took q for a walk & we scored big on cans!  she has made a little over $100 in the year that we have been collecting them.  still not for sure what she will buy with her money just yet since she is too big for the barbie car.  :)

 day 272: 10/01 mon

shotglass from my friend rob!  that makes about 30 or so shotglasses in our collection.  :)

this was the theme for hopp's bday.  :)  i cut out a ton of these!

took a bday invite to a friend down the street, this is what i got as we headed home.  these girls love each other so MUCH!!!  i think this is one of my most fave pics in a long time.  :)

who doesn't need a pair of skel-a-flamingos?  i wish i had snagged up this pair!  they were gone the next time i went to the store.  :(

the big baby getting her flu shot!  do you see that she has 2 different colored socks on?  is this being lazy or are all the kids doing it?

got employee of the month!  got my own parking spot & a certificate to a restaurant along with my name on the plaque.  :)

a hat i was working on, look at all those ends that needed to weaved in!  that's what sucks about changing colors.  :)

pumpkins brought over from the local pumpkin patch.  the warty one was so abused!  they hated on it because it wasn't the prettiest!  :(  that green one reminds me of a goose.  ;)

princess birthday party at a friend's house!  hopp loves snow white!  q of course was dressed as rapunzel, that's her current favorite now.  we have the wig but i made her wait until halloween because i didn't want her to mess it up.  aren't they adorbs?!?!

did mine & hopp's nails in polka dots!  i love that she is at the stage i can get her to stay still long enough to do her nails.  :)

sent a letter to my big brother!  :)  see how i addresed it MR Karina? i love giving him a hard time, it also had junk mail in it as that is what he sent me first.  lil buddy is what my oldest started calling him when she was about 4 or 5, he has never been uncle chad, just lil buddy.  i love it!

it rained & rained & the backyard flooded.  :)  we enjoyed it.

q running through the rain, she had a blast & was soaked!!  on a side note, jason & i had our anniversary that day, we have been married for 11 years!  seems only yesterday we said our 'i dos' :)

woohoo, 2 wks down!  lots of q this week as we had a couple of days where she lost 2 teeth in 2 days!  she had the tooth fairy working overtime!  :o)

day 257: 9/16 sun

tooth #1 pulled during nap while watching some tv, total of 3 teeth missing!

day 258: 9/17 mon

tooth #2 gone!  4 total teeth missing.  :)

hopp had her first picnic lunch, sadly it rained the next day so they couldn't go to the park as planned.  she didn't care they had one in the living room on the floor! 

day 259: 9/18 tues

this cracked me up!  i didn't care for the previous days pic just because it wasn't an "in your face" no teeth photo, i really wanted her to show off!  :o)   i love missing teeth photos!!

it was nana night & i never feature lucky.  this is my MIL's dog, his name is lucky, he's so sweet, i wish she would let me take him home.  he never barks & loves the girls.  so what does that make him, my DIL, dog-in-law?  hehehe, sorry couldn't resist.  :o)



working on that CAL blanket, it's not a CAL anymore because everyone that did it has a finished blanket.

hopp's teacher sent me this photo, she looks like she is about to hurt someone for looking at her lunch.  :o)

finished circles for the CAL blanket.  :)  just need 11 of the yellow & blue then i can move on to round 2...

i feel like this is such a waste...  all that yarn, kinda makes me sad.

q participated in the 1mile fun run that benefited her school.  she didn't make it the whole way running but she had a blast!



what's this i see?!?  why yes!  that's neon yarn at hob lob!!  i'm in love!!!  i have yet to buy some, not for sure what i would make with it.  i still drool every time i walk by it.  :)



working my dittos inventory, it calls for a cape cod!  hehehe

birthday shout out!!!  this was jess's 18th bday!!!  yep, that's right my baby girl is of legal age, i can't believe it, where have all the years gone???   made this bow from a secret deodorant ad, got the tutorial from bffmrt, a great way to recycle & it's super easy to do.  on that note, a secret deodorant ad has never looked so good!  ;)

day 256: 9/15 sat

look at this precious baby!!!  his name is baylor & isn't he gorgeous?!?  his mommy is a previous co-worker friend from back in the phone book days.  that hat he is wearing was one of my fo's.  i can't get over how gorgeous he is, tawners makes some beautiful babies.  :o)

it rained & this was on my sidewalk.  i thought it was so pretty!  just a plain old leaf that fell off a tree, what a nice little piece of art.  :)

well that's all for week 37, a couple more weeks to catch up on.  i hope all of you have been doing well, i've missed you all, i haven't even caught up on my fave blogs either.  it's been so hectic!

ok, i'm earlier in posting this than i thought i would be...
this week we have lots of cuteness, hookin', dnc, & centipedes, OH MY!!!  :o)

day 243: sun 9/2

took hopp to the splash pad on sunday morning with a friend's kiddos & she had a blast.  usually it's a nightmare getting her hair & face wet in the shower but she had no problems with it that morning.  :o)

day 244: mon 9/3

here is the pic of the coaster sets that i'm giving away, go like my fb page to get entered if you haven't already.  :o)  it was the hubby's bday.  he is a true labor day baby.  :)  he is finally as old as i am so he can quit saying i'm old for about 3 mths.  ;o)

day 245: tues 9/4

look how sweet she is!  i can't remember why she was in the front seat but she thought she was going to get to ride up there.  um, i think not little miss.  the back seat it is for you!  :)

day 246: wed 9/5

took hopp to the dr.  she had a bad cough & it was a stupid sinus infection!  while waiting for her rx at sam's we came across this giganto hedgehog.  omg he is so cute & as big as her!  if they still have it i may go get it for her for her bday coming up.

day 247: thurs 9/6

i had taco casa for lunch & i love it!!!  it tastes like the original taco bell stuff.  tb has really gotten nasty lately, we call it astronaut food.  :)  i love the sauce at casa, it's so good!  i had some sweet tea, they have THE BEST SWEEEEET TEA!!!  now when i say sweet tea, i mean it!  it's so sweet, just like me, oh i mean like i like it.  :o)

was working on some hookin' & watching the dnc.  i know there are lots of you that don't like him but i stand my ground & say I LOVE ME SOME OBAMAS!  he has been so awesome with all the bad criticism!  it's got to be the worst job & he has been a complete gentleman!

day 248: fri 9/7

yep, here it is.  the centipede that was outside our office building.  we are out in b-f-e & we get all kinds of critters.  a scorpion was in the sink one morning & just this last week there was a rattlesnake in master control in the station! 
this was the best pic i could get of him.  i really wanted to put him in perspective of how big these suckers are.  that card is as big as a credit card!  the head is the red part.  they are very poisonous & luckily he was cleaning his antenna & i got a still pic of him.  he was really fast!  scary, gross but oh so interesting & yes he really is shiny.  it looks like one of those plastic shiny bugs but they really do look like they have shiny plastic bodies.

my fo for last week.  it's halfway done, just 44 more to go!

q was reading the diggingest dog to me & hopp before bed. :o)

me & hopp listening to q read to us, we got some crazy hair going on!

my friend maria sent this to me.  jess taking pics on the field at the high school football game.  it's a religion here in west texas & she is on the yearbook so she gets to stand on the sidelines & take pics.  this was before the game while the band was warming up, i think.  she loves it!

day 249: sat 9/8

the first parade for the girls.  i may have taken q when she was really little but this is their first parade to remember.  they loved it!  it's a really big parade for our area.  it was almost 2hrs long!  it kicked off the west texas fair & rodeo & there were lots of great cars, horses, bands & rodeo queens.  i will definitely be taking them to the parades more often, we have several throughout the year.  :o)

one of jess's friends asked me to make her a slouchy & matching scarf.  this is the yarn i picked out.  i really like it.  it's a pinkish red & worked great for my projects.  you should see them tomorrow.  it's first love by yarn bee in passion berry.  it's a nice chunky/bulky yarn.  :o)
