i totally forgot that i have an fof today!  i was sad thinking i don't have one but remembered i left one of my mug cozies off so i could show-n-tell today.  :D  i have a wip to show you as well.

now for my wip, which should be done tonight!  :D  i'm making a granny square apron as the BIG prize for the baby shower this weekend.  so if you want to try & win my apron let me know & i will tell you where to come 'shower' with us.  i got this pattern from one of my fave blogs, she has some of the best tutes, it's from tangled happy.  :)  i just have to get complimentary color yarn while at lunch today so i can finish it off. 

i want the main color to be the light green but i don't think they have yarn in that color so should i choose orange or yellow?  i'm thinking maybe yellow???  it's so pretty!

oh & i think i'm giving the fof at the baby shower as a prize as well :)  here are the cozies together that are all finished.

ok so i think i have the gift idea for the 2yr old.  i have some silicone molds and i'm going to make shaped crayons for him.  they are so cute & great for the budding artist.  :)

so now my dilemma is, i'm throwing a shower for a family member this sunday.  i have her gift all made but i was thinking about game prizes.  i know i'm going to put one of mug cozies as a prize but what else would be a good prize to make, i'm thinking i need at least 2 more prizes.  i'm all about saving money so any good patterns anyone would like to share or ideas to share on a good prize?  i'm thinking i will hit up pinterest for some diy ideas too.  :)

time for show-n-tell!!!
two of the items i have had for awhile now but just now getting around to trying to get decent pics of them.  i made the potholder tuesday & finished it after cnc night but never attached a loop so i did that last night.  they are made with peaches & cream yarn in the red/cream/blue ombre.  not for sure the name, i just picked some up a long time ago & just got around to making stuff out of it.  i also made a hackey sac out of this one ball of yarn.  not bad for a tiny ball, potholder, coffee cozy & a hackey sac.  :)

i still can't get a good shot of this one, it's really plain but that tattoo inspired bird button sets off the cozy, i think of my friend crystal every time i see it
