so so so so sorry for the lack of posts

i've been so busy at work that i've not had too much time to update here.  please follow me on instagram for up-to-date stuff on your favorite hooker!  :]

as you can see, not much hookin' has been happening.  i'm having pinched nerve problems in my neck which causes severe arm/shoulder/elbow pain so the most i've been doing lately is my nails.  :)  so you will see lots of the littles & some of even the teen & LOTS OF NAILS & polish stuff.

going to have an MRI soon so i will keep you up on what's going on there.  if you have an IG account let me know your name so i can start following you.

ok, i'm late, i'm having a crazy work week again.  having presentations really cramps my style. ;o)
here we go...

day 236: sun 8/26

it rained!!!  i let q catch all the rain she could in all the pitchers & buckets we could find.  we ended up having to dump most of it because the mosquitos have been something fierce at our house & west nile has been positive in some that have been caught.  it was fun while it lasted & kept her busy for a while.  :o)

day 237: mon 8/27  FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!
can you guys believe it?!?  i have a SENIOR & a first grader!  crazy...  even hopp had a new daycare to go to so it was new places all the way around. 

showing off my popaganda ulta collection aka porno pink as we call it.  i loved the color in the bottle but it was really see through.  even with 3 layers i could still see through it.  i don't think i will buy ulta brand polish anymore. 

told you it was a busy week!  see those 2 stacks, that's over 660 invitations that needed to go out!  did it in 3 days with all the regular interruptions.

day 238: tue 8/28

ANGELS!!!  so sweet, q had her hand out touching hopp's arm.  yes, hopp sleeps like that all the time.  looks like her arm is about to break off!  poor baby on the floor never made it far in bed that night.  ;)

this was what i was going to drink that night but i was waiting on jess to see if she needed a ride & by the time she got home it was too late & we went to bed.  but let me tell you, coconut rum & coke zero are yummy together!!!  as you can tell, these are my instagram pics except for one.  i'm going to start using them because i like the filters & features.  if you want to follow me just look for stephannis :o)

did my nails in the orange that came with the ulta popaganda set.  it wasn't as bright as i originally wanted but it looked good, i liked the more i looked at it.

day 175: 6/26 tues

met up with claudia for some mommy time & the evil bunnies were back!  it's been awhile since i've seen them.  we haven't hit up mez in awhile but before we stopped going, they were MIA, maybe because one of the ears were broken off.  see what happens when you are an evil bunny!!!  :o)  i actually think they were a little cute this time & maybe getting an ear broken off & glued back on taught them a lesson.

day 176: 6/27 wed  no pic today, well i had one but the picture for the 28th was better...


day 177: 6/28 thurs

i've been doing the phones for one hour a day at work, don't ask...  anywho, we have a baby frog!!!  it's so cute.  you may have to click on the pic to really see it.  it was a tadpole, i swear like yesterday, now we have a baby frog, they grow up so fast.  ;)

pouty hopp, didn't get a good nap in & didn't want to look or talk to anyone & when i started to take her pic she went hysterical & put her hands in front of her face, didn't work we were still in the car with her.  we spent the night in dallas & went to nrh2o with the kiddos...

day 179: 6/30 sat

so we are at the hotel getting ready & out our window is a tower...  that's right we stayed in the dfw airport!!!  priceline gave us this hotel at the price we asked & because we bid on a price they don't tell you were it's at.  this hotel was amazing but the food & amenities were outrageous!!!  anyway, it was pretty cool to look out the balcony at the planes.  on a greater note, we got jess back from her 5wk stay with her dad.  we sure did miss her & are so glad to have her back!!!  :o)

was doing the phones in the afternoon & decided to take a pic of our atrium as you walk in.  they have done such a good job of remodeling.  it's so green because they put that green fiberglass stuff on the roof.  that rectangular thing on the right is our pond.  we have a frog & a couple of tadpoles.  the tadpoles have back legs now so it won't be long before they will be big frogs.  :o)

day 171: fri 6/22

so my new camera has a front & back camera & i'm totally not good at aiming when using the back camera, how do you guys take such good self pics when you can't see where the camera is aiming?  anywho, colored my hair but the color here is not correct, my hair isn't brown it's red with some brown in it.  :o)

took q to lunch with me & some friends for a going away lunch for a friend.  usually she goes to summer rec but she was having a rough morning so she stayed with daddy & i took her with me during lunch.

ms maria got the girls a necklace, they match.  it's a cute little sparkle strawberry & the chain is red, it's so cute & they absolutely adore their new necklaces!  thank you ms "aria"!!!

day 133: mon 5/14

i hit the jackpot at heb the other day & got both of these colors of polish for only $1!!!  they are made by wet n wild & are a part of the wild shine collection.  the blue is called blue moon & has the prettiest shade of deep royal with a hint of green in it & the glitter is called kaleidoscope.  it isn't blue but i put 2 layers on top of 1 layer of the blue.  i just did the ring finger in glitter & it turned out so pretty.  yes, claudia, it's my glitter accent nail i talked about on pinterest one day.  :o)

hopp was being such a good girl at the shoe store in the mall that i let her ride one of the cars right outside the shoe store.  :o)  she was the happiest little girl in the world right at that moment, these are the moments that i wanted to record & why i started this blog.  look at that sweet face, could she smile any bigger?!?

it's field day at school, i did her hair in a mini braid & then added the long braid to the big pony.  :o)



look at that stance!  she is getting so big!!!  i think that is her fave shirt, kitty with headphones & it's sparkly.  :)

after field day & then lunch they had their awards ceremony.  she had really cute little awards for each kiddo that was a different candy bar.  q got the "milky way" award.  she loved it & i guess had never had a milky way.  she loved it so much she said she wants a milky way everyday!  yeah right!!!  ;)

q wanted to give everyone a thank you card in her class for being her friend but i came up with friendship bracelets (of course the idea came from pinterest, here's the site for my idea), i will post all of them in week 21 but we started working on them friday evening.  i found an easy 5-strand braid & she caught on really quickly.  this was the first one she did all by herself!

day 138: sat 5/19

after going to a crazy i just happen to see in the paper's listings for a daybed, a wooden one at that, that i have been waiting for, for over a month or two, & it was only $35 for the day bed & the trundle!!!!!  ok, i'm done rambling, we headed to the park.  it was early so it was beautiful with the sun out & the air had a crisp chill to it.  i say perfect morning!  i love this pic of hopp's hair with sunlight caught in it.  what a little angel!!!

q & i finally talked hopp off the swings, it's all she wants to do anymore at the park!  i caught them coming down, i slowed them down just enough to catch this pic, look at the happiness on q's face.  omg, she loves her sisters!!!

and slow enough to catch this one too.  love those cheesy little smiles!!!  yep that's morning hair, didn't even take the time to really fix their hair, but who cares?  not me, saturdays are for fun not fussing with hair!!!  :o)

now that i'm caught up maybe i can get next weeks in time.  :o)  have a great week & 3 day weekend, & don't forget to thank a veteran or active service man/woman for all they have & will be doing for us!!!

day 125: sun 5/6

not for sure if you can see it or not but q got some catalina salad dressing with her lettuce & her face broke out with these nasty red welts.  i was thinking she was allergic to something in the dressing, she has done this with ranch, honey mustard & sometimes ketchup.  she never had trouble breathing or her throat never felt funny so i wasn't too concerned about it being dangerous.  i did some internets searching & found that this is pretty common with little kids & not to be too worried about.  it is just a skin reaction to the vinegar in these condiments.  i think that if she made more of it in her mouth instead of her face this wouldn't happen.  ;)  so anywho, if you ever see this on your kid, it's probably just a skin sensitivity to vinegar.

day 126: mon 5/7

came to work & ms maria gave me a huge bouquet of the cinco de mayo flowers.  she twisted them all together & they are gorgeous!! 

day 127: tues 5/8

isn't this super cute?!?  it's my cupcake car scent holder from bath & body works.  they have all different shapes & colors.  we have a yellow smiley face with a hot pink bow in the magnum.  they clip on your visor or anywhere else you can stick it.  i got the vanilla coconut & it's ok for the magnum but this one was frosted cupcake & it smells just like a yummy vanilla cupcake was baked in my car.  :)

 day 128: wed 5/9

ladybug!  we got ready for school & headed out the door & a little lady was waiting to greet us!  superstition says that anything a ladybug lands on means you are going to get a new one.  so will i be getting a new car?  doubt it but it's always fun to play.  :o)

day 129: thurs 5/10

took q to look for something for her teacher for teacher appreciation day, actually we were supposed to get something everyday but i didn't like the ideas so i figured she would appreciate a big one time gift more.  we saw these flowers & they were stunning.  it was the most unique shade of grey/mauve i have ever seen.  i couldn't stop looking at them, they were so eye-catching! 

day 130: fri 5/11

i had done my nails on sunday & finally got a decent shade of the color.  it's from zoya & it's called marina.  it's a beautiful grey/blue color.

here is the teacher appreciation gift.  a 12pk of dr pepper in the bottles & a gorgeous necklace a friend made.  remember me telling you her fave color is green & she collects crosses?  how perfect is that?  it's so pretty & between the crosses she put pink & black accent beads & it all just popped!  she actually was wearing it the other day when i went to school with q for field day, that will be a full post on its on soon.  :)

day 131: sat 5/12

time to cash in those cans for q!  this is what my magnum looked like when we left the house.  not our biggest load but man, that's a lot of cans.  i have a great group of friends that help q out!  this load was worth $6!!!  :o)

bud light just came out with these lime-a-ritas & they are delish.  i'm a bud light lime gal, well before i was diagnosed with celiac's, but i'm not a margarita girl.  i perfer sweet over sour...  so anywho, they took that whole corona-rita thing & actually made their own thing.  let me just say, this is DELISH!!!  i know i said that in the first sentence but they really are good.  i took a drink just to try it, i didn't drink the whole thing.  this was a 24oz can but they do come in 12oz cans for those of you that don't want to feel like they look like a bum drinking a tall boy.  :o)

remember when i bought the pirates of the caribbean opi mini nail polish collection, well i finally used the stranger tides color.  i'm still not for sure about this one.  it has a green tint to it & as much as i love zombies, the color reminded me of what zombies looked like in the movies.  rotting flesh is not really a color i would necessarily want to color my nails.  :)  it would look great if you were going for the camo look.

day 106: tues 4/17

another pinterest to-do is done.  q loves to water the flowers & plants.  i made this, it's a plant water bottle recycled from a milk jug.  only problem i found is that it sucks the bottle together, does that make sense?  anyway i just need to find a place to add an air hole so it doesn't suck so much, no pun intended.  :)  you can find the tutorial here, in case you have questions.  i used a heated steak knife but a heated nail would have been better...

a new hair pic!  i did their hair the same way, one pony on the top & then sectioned it in half like dog ears & then sectioned that in half so they had double ponies.  :)  i love that hopp put her head on q's shoulder in the back photo.  :)

we went to the flea market in b-gap this weekend, it was my first time.  i wasn't too excited about what i saw.  anywho, the weirdest thing we came across was this set of pigeons, they have curly feathers!  so cool, even their feet had curly feathers on them like ugg boots.  :o)  they are called frillback pigeons here is a link on them for better pics, pretty neato huh?

just wanted to share this cute pic of hopp with her baby she insisted on taking with her that we had to go back twice for because she would drop her & forget about her.  :o)  i love this little face!!!
