366 days of photos week 38

woohoo, 2 wks down!  lots of q this week as we had a couple of days where she lost 2 teeth in 2 days!  she had the tooth fairy working overtime!  :o)

day 257: 9/16 sun

tooth #1 pulled during nap while watching some tv, total of 3 teeth missing!

day 258: 9/17 mon

tooth #2 gone!  4 total teeth missing.  :)

hopp had her first picnic lunch, sadly it rained the next day so they couldn't go to the park as planned.  she didn't care they had one in the living room on the floor! 

day 259: 9/18 tues

this cracked me up!  i didn't care for the previous days pic just because it wasn't an "in your face" no teeth photo, i really wanted her to show off!  :o)   i love missing teeth photos!!

 day 260: 9/19 wed


it was nana night & i never feature lucky.  this is my MIL's dog, his name is lucky, he's so sweet, i wish she would let me take him home.  he never barks & loves the girls.  so what does that make him, my DIL, dog-in-law?  hehehe, sorry couldn't resist.  :o)



working on that CAL blanket, it's not a CAL anymore because everyone that did it has a finished blanket.

day 261: 9/20 thurs

hopp's teacher sent me this photo, she looks like she is about to hurt someone for looking at her lunch.  :o)

day 262: 9/21 fri

finished circles for the CAL blanket.  :)  just need 11 of the yellow & blue then i can move on to round 2...

i feel like this is such a waste...  all that yarn, kinda makes me sad.

day 263: 9/22 sat

q participated in the 1mile fun run that benefited her school.  she didn't make it the whole way running but she had a blast!



what's this i see?!?  why yes!  that's neon yarn at hob lob!!  i'm in love!!!  i have yet to buy some, not for sure what i would make with it.  i still drool every time i walk by it.  :)



working my dittos inventory, it calls for a cape cod!  hehehe

366 days of photos week 17

i only missed 2 days this week, not bad but got to get better...  this week had a lost tooth & a hopp/mommy day along with some other fun stuffs, so here we go!

day 111: sun 4/22

excuse the red bumps, i'm super white so my leg has these all over.  :o)  anywho, this is my thigh & jason had the bright idea of giving me a "tat".  i told him that he had the liberty of whatever he wanted.  he started with the rainbow then decided to add a sun & then to top it off added 3 birdies for me.  i don't know, looks pretty good for an amateur & the pen wouldn't cooperate...  :) 

day 112: mon 4/23 no pic :(


day 113: tues 4/24

this church is in my neighborhood & they were getting their roof fixed.  look how steep that is!!!  yikes, i would be terrified out of my mind! i've always wondered how they would stay on, they usually put planks up so they can stand on them & work on the shingles but this time they were tethered by pulleys & ropes.  it was kinda neat watching, there was one guy just running up to the top at one point & pulling himself up. 

day 114: wed 4/25

my babies!!!  this was right before bedtime, got them all together.  jess 17, q 6, hopp 3

day 115: thurs 4/26

at jump rope practice & all was going good until she smacked the back of both her arms with her jump rope & she had a melt down.  poor baby, those ropes hurt when they slap you!  anyway, i got her mind off other things & then we started talking about her loose tooth.  i felt it, it was getting looser & asked her if she wanted me to push it back a little so that the front would not be so tight, she ok'd it & i barely pushed back & it was really loose.  i tried pulling it but it wouldn't budge so i pushed it gently back again & told her to go get a paper towel because by this time it was bleeding just a tiny bit.  so she goes to get the paper towel & i try but my fingers were getting in the way so i told her to try pulling it.  she tried 2-3x & nothing happened.  she tried one more time & i thought she wasn't getting it & she yelled, "i GOT it!!!".  she was so excited.  so the fairy came by & left her a dollar bill!  not too shabby for her 3rd tooth huh?!?  :o)  so the best part is that she had graduation pictures the next day & we have a missing tooth graduation picture coming soon!  i just love missing teeth school pics!!!  :o)

day 116: fri 4/27

hopp & i got to have a mommy/daughter lunch date on friday, daycare closed due to a death in the family & they had to travel a couple of hours away.  so we went to lunch with ms claudia & her mommy (her mom came in from out of town) & when we pulled up there was this beautiful pink motorcycle in front of us.  hopp asked if it was for her... um yeah right!!!  :o)  i cracked up & she laughed & asked if it was for me.  no thanks, they scare me.  :)  anywho, she wanted me to take a pic & she loves it. 

lunch with hopp, love that sweet face!!!  she got to color a burro as we were at a mexican restaurant & it was blue & orange as that's all the colors she had been given.  :o)

weeknd wrap up

this was a busy but fun weekend.  we went to a 'crazy' & i found a candle holder to make a hat display out of & then we went to big lots, i heard they had a big sale going on because they are moving locations, didn't find much but i did find this dragonfly thingy that i thought i would have to cut it off but after messing with it with my friend christine, we found out that it just UNSCREWED!!!  this will be another hat display.  we are going to do a craft show together.  i'm so excited but super nervous because i've never done one before.

 we went home after the visit with christine & her kiddos & took a nap.  this is how a princess naps, propped up & hands behind your head.  :)

while they were napping i started making these jet packs for the fall fest.  so super easy just takes a little time.  i found them on pinterest but mine are easier & cheaper to make than what she made.  :)

 at the fall fest playing games...

 then it was really quiet yesterday & then we had a tooth pulled & excitement because the tooth fairy is coming!!!  she brought q a dollar & a pack of gum.  :)

i also pinned a buttermilk caramel syrup for pancakes & waffles & made that last night for dinner.  o-m-g!!! it was sooooo good, i would highly suggest you make it.  i don't know what i did wrong but the only thing that didn't work was when i added the baking soda it didn't mix completely so next time i may leave it out.  i wonder why the baking soda is even needed.  anyone have any ideas as to why i would need it?  here's the link.  you should make some ASAP!!!  you won't regret it, well maybe just the calorie content.  :)  oh & the 2 little ones loved it so much they scraped their plates to get every bit of the syrup off the plate into their mouths!  jess thought it was so-so but she is totally wrong!  this syrup is the BOMB!!!!  :o)  i hope you all had a great weekend!!!  see you soon....
