day 278: 10/07 sun

happy happy birthday to my sweet baby hopp!!!  she is 4 now!  time really flies!!!  she was helping me make cupcakes for her daycare.  :)

finally got her to put up 4 the right way.  as you see in the above pic she was struggling, she finally got it.  :)

day 279: 10/08 mon

one of my cupcakes looked like brains!  i saved that one for jason.  :)

even though they are glittery & funky colors, they still kinda creep me out.

jess driving!  so serious, i love it!  i hope she is always this serious when she drives when i'm not in the car with her!!!  i don't know what it is about this pic but she is gorgeous, maybe it's the hair out of her face, can you see her tat behind her ear?  i can't believe she put it there.  oh well, nothing i can do about it, i'm ok with the tat just not the placement...

omg, this was at the dr office!  seriously, there is nothing more outdated you could still be using.  ;)

super classy!!!  some guy drives around in abilene with spinners, they looked plastic too, a coon tail from the hitch, & nekid ladies on the mud flaps!!!  what a douche!!!

the second hat, a little different pattern from the pink/green one, i decided i would weave as i would finish a row, much easier!!!  :)

this one is a long one, i took so many pictures!!! it was the most gorgeous outdoor craft show i have ever been to!  if you ever get an invite to the quaint marketplace, here in town, go to it!!! you will not be disappointed!!!!  i'm not going to comment on each one just a few.

this little critter was taking a stroll on the coffee machine/supply table!!!  at least he was little & not humongo like the one the last time!!!

here is the super cute party idea from the picture i took previously.  i made a huge pic by cutting out different sections in photo shop & pasting them in a word document & then putting her together like a puzzle.  there is a much easier way to do it in paint but didn't find out till just the other day.  oh well, we live & learn right?  we played put the band aid on hopp.  :)  i so love that smile, so toothy!!!

Day 8: Sunday 1/8/12

here's a picture q made at school.  this made us laugh because flowers is the most country-phonetically spelled word!  how did she get television but not flowers.  i love art work like this and of course it's her watering the "flars" because she has curly hair.  :o) 

Day 9: Monday 1/9/12

Q's birthday cupcakes for school.  the kids didn't know why they had Qs on them.  :)  i didn't know if i had enough icing for all the cupcakes so i had a genius moment & just put letter Qs on each one.  chocolate was gf & the vanilla were regular.

Day 10: Tuesday 1/10/12

she was being so good at the dr office that morning.  they have a small section for kids, we were at the gastro for a follow-up for her tummy issues.  all has been going great since we cut out wheat.  :)

Day 11: Wednesday 1/11/12

at nana's & diddy's for our wednesday night dinners at their house.  she is working with q on her homework.

my boss did a local dancing with the stars for a local children's home fundraiser.  these were her goody sacks for the people that supported her with some money for the event.  i put all her pics on the sacks & tied bows on them, all 63 of them!!!

how cute is this?!?!?!?!? this is hopp & her friend k.  her mom & i were walking the mall early sat & they played on the playground while we did our thing.  they decided to hold hands on the way to chick-fil-a for a drink & i got this. 



wip wednesday, birthday gift & a kitcher sighting

i've been making headbands for a while now & i like them but i was looking for a wider version & i found one i really really like but it's front & back post stitches & it will take forever for me as i'm not so good with those stitches.  i'm thinking of converting it to regular stitches it just won't have ribbing.  anywho, i was looking at my "i'm a HOOKER!!!" board & saw i had pinned this headband a while back & thought i would make it.  it's not as wide as the first one but it's wide enough. i really like it & it's turning out really pretty. 

sorry bad lighting again, the headband i originally wanted to make is the one in the picture on the paper.  :o)  didn't realize i had gotten a pic of it as well.

this is the pattern i'm working on right now, it's nice for dreads or long curls as she describes.

i love this headband!  so neat!

i'm finished with the top portion all i have left is the sides & the button.  the only thing i don't care about on this pattern is that it uses a 3.5 hook & i hate the tiny hooks.  give me a pattern with an I or bigger hook & i'm good to-go.  i actually tried to make the pattern with an I hook but the holes were way too big so i'm going by the pattern. 


yesterday was my birthday, yep, i'm the big 3-6!  it doesn't bother me like some people, it's more of, just another day thing to me.  i don't feel older either.  :o)

i walked into work yesterday after q's christmas party, forgot my phone so no damn pics! :(
brittany had got me 2 bags of pork rinds, one hot, one regular (i love pork rinds!), and tied a balloon around the bags.  so that's what i got instead of a cake, i specified i didn't want cake so this is what she came up with.  i freaking love it!!!  :o)

oh & a kitcher sighting.  our elf on the shelf is not mischievous, i don't get why people want their sweet, cute elf to be bad!  don't get me wrong, it's funny but i hate cleaning up messes & those bad elves are making too many messes for my likings.  so our elf does non-messy, non-bad things.  this is what we woke up to a couple of days ago...

getting the weekend started off right

it started with hopp's party on friday evening.  we had nachos & played a few games & then we opened presents & ate cake.  it was a great birthday party & everyone had lots of fun.  sorry for lacking in pics, my MIL took all the pics & i don't know if i will ever get them on my end.  :)

 during the party, jess' friend came & picked her up for the game & this is the pic with both of them in their mum/garter.  gabriel is the same age as jess but i'm guessing he looks so much older because of the 'stache.  he was very sweet, the little bit we actually saw him, & was very polite & met almost everyone in the family, lucky him.  :o)

after everyone left we started opening up packaging & pulling out her toys to play with.  i only got picks with two of the gifts & they were from my friend maria.  she loved the baby & the necklace/bracelet/ring set it's so cute & rainbow-y & lots of glitter.

then on saturday we went & looked for a dress, long story short, she found a really cute one from ross for under $17!!!  it's blue with a black lace overlay so unless you are standing next to her you really can't tell it's blue.  i don't think they planned the colors together but he matched her & they were a very handsome couple.  :)

 on sunday we didn't do much just waited till after nap & went to the laundromat to wash my comforter.  we are going to probably need it this evening so i figured i better go ahead & get it clean so we can use it soon.  we have a washer/dryer but the washer i have isn't king size comforter friendly.

week in hair & an fof

first up fof...

i have 11 red, 8 yellow, 2 orange & 6 blue all the way done to where they are suppose to be.  if i hadn't run out of these colors they would be all the way done.  so that means i need to make several trips to hobb lobb to use that 40% off coupon.  :)  i should have 11 total in each color to this round.  i just started working on the dark set at round 3.  i'm not too excited about the dark set but i need to finish what i started.  :)

wednesday, q had a headband with a double knot pony, hopp a headband.  love that pouty face!!!  so sweet q is trying to get her to smile.  she was upset because i asked her to smile & look at me one too many times.

i can't believe my BABY is 3 today!  they grow so fast, so hug your babies extra tight because they won't be babies for long!!!!  i can't wait to have her dino party next friday.  it's going to be so much fun!
